Summer Program Online Registration Is Now Open
Online registration for our summer programs is now open. Please note that only residents of Springfield are eligible to enroll their child(ren). Additionally, participants must be between the ages of 6 and 13 as of July 1, 2025.
If a program has reached capacity, you may still submit a registration; your child(ren) will be placed on the waitlist.

Kiley Summer Program
Online Registration Reminder
Online registration begins on Monday, May 12. Below is the registration schedule for this week. Please note that registration for a program will not open until the scheduled start time for that day.
Monday, May 12: Kiley @ 10:00 AM
Tuesday, May 13: Camp STAR @ 10:00 AM
Wednesday, May 14: ECOS @ 10:00 AM
Thursday, May 15: Van Sickle @ 10:00 AM
Programs will be available for registration at any time after the listed start time, until they reach full capacity.
Afterschool Programs
Looking for a free afterschool program that provides a safe, fun-filled environment for your children with lots of opportunities for hands-on educational and recreational activities to support what they do during the school day? The Recreation Division of the Department of Parks, Buildings and Recreation Management (DPBRM) runs afterschool programs at three elementary schools located throughout the city and funded by the City of Springfield.

Open Gym Programs
Night Gym starts on Monday, October 28. Runs from 5:30 to 8:30 each night it's open. The programs will be open until May. Also, please note that if the schools are closed for any reason, then the program is closed.

Sports leagues
Cyr Arena
Public skating is offered at Cyr Arena in Forest Park Friday and Saturday from 7:00 PM-8:50 PM and Sunday from 2:00 PM - 3:50 PM ends on March 28, 2025.
There is a $7.00 admission fee ($5.00 for youth) and a $5.00 skate rental fee.
