The Development Services Division has been allocated funds by the Office of Recovery and Business Continuity for the purposes of carrying out various programming with American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding. The purpose of these programs is to assist residents, businesses and neighborhoods equitably recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. You can find information regarding these programs on this site:

The Office of Planning and Economic Development has also recieved funding to administer the Build Back Springfield Program which provides funding to assist in the redevelopment of vacant, historic properties.
