Springfield Community Preservation Committee (SCPC) to Hold a Remote Public Hearing

PUBLIC NOTICE

is hereby given that the Springfield Community Preservation Committee (SCPC) will hold a remote Public Hearing for public comment on Springfield’s needs, opportunities and resources in regard to open space, historic resources, outdoor recreation and community housing. Your comments will aid in the development of the Community Preservation Plan and will be used to guide the SCPC’s decision-making on Community Preservation Act (CPA) project proposals. Once the plan is approved by the committee, the SCPC will solicit project proposals from individuals and organizations and recommend projects to the City Council for funding. Application deadline for the next cycle of funding will be posted on the website:   https://www.springfield-ma.gov/finance/. Projects approved for a CPA grant are using public funds in the community and your feedback is important.
