The City of Springfield Board of Assessors reminds residents that the final day to file Fiscal Year 2019 Overvalue Applications for Abatements on both real and personal property is this Friday, February 1, 2019.
Residents who may choose to file an abatement can download the form here. Additionally, residents can find a helpful information sheer here.
Applications must be mailed US Mail, first class postage pre-paid to the proper address of the Assessors on or before February 1, 2019 as shown by the postmark made by the United States Postal Service. They can also be brought in person to the Assessor’s Office on Friday before the end of the business day.
