Join us for a Community Health Fair on April 23, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Central Library Rotunda, 220 State Street, featuring local organizations providing services to improve Springfield residents’ health and well-being. Co-sponsored by the Springfield City Library and the Office of Race and Health Equity, the second annual Community Health Fair will spotlight local health organizations and services available to Springfield residents. In recognition of Public Health Month, the organizations in attendance will feature free, local resources to improve residents’ health and well-being. All visitors will receive a prize for visiting the Community Health Fair (while supplies last).
Participating organizations will provide representatives and materials to answer visitors’ questions; expected to attend are Caring Health Center, City of Springfield’s Office of Problem Gambling, Gándara Center, Greater Springfield Senior Services, Health Care for the Homeless, Healthy Air Network, Massachusetts Behavioral Health Help Line, Narcotics Anonymous, Open Door Social Services, Pathways to Friendship, Square One, and Tapestry Health.
To especially encourage and support family attendance during Spring Vacation, Springfield Public School’s Home City Families and Springfield City Library will also co-host a Great Play Date for children and caregivers in the Children’s Room at the Central Library during the Community Health Fair, featuring miniature activities in imaginary Tape Town.
