Mayor Domenic J. Sarno joined this afternoon with Caring Health Center, Inc. President & CEO Tania Barber and Chief Facilities Expansion & Sustainability Officer for Caring Health Center Dr. Jacqueline Johnson to get a sneak peek tour of the facility which will open on Sumner Avenue next to Caring Health’s Tania M. Barber Learning Institute in the near future.
Mayor Sarno states, “I want to applaud and thank Caring Health Center President and CEO Tania Barber and her dedicated team and staff for their continued efforts working to bring quality health care access to our community. I appreciate her and Dr. Jackie Johnson showcasing the serious work that they have put into this space on Sumner Ave, known to many as the old Goodwill and before that Blake’s. The space is coming along beautifully and I am very proud that my administration was able to support the Caring Health Center’s complete transformation of this property into a spacious and state-of-the-art facility to meet the health needs of our community. From dental, women and infant care, primary care, mental health, lab and pharmacy services, vaccines, telehealth, and more, Caring Health is a long-trusted source for comprehensive health services. My city team and I are proud to have been able to provide pandemic recovery support, and we are excited to see the doors open soon at the Caring Health Center’s new Sumner Ave location.”
