Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and Police Superintendent Lawrence Akers joined with Hampden County Sheriff Nick Cocchi, the Springfield Police Department’s C3 Units led by Captain Julio Toledo, Head of the Hampden County Sheriff’s Office Holyoke Safe Neighborhood Initiative (HSNI) Ed Caisse, Holyoke Mayor Josh Garcia, Holyoke Police Chief Brian Keenan, and Chief for the Springfield Branch Office, Assistant United States Attorney Neil Desroches to bring greetings at the annual C3 all-star basketball game at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on Wednesday evening. Shout to Tony Pettaway, Emergency Management Director the city’s Health and Human Services Department, who served as announcer/emcee for the game, and to Brightwood Elementary Principal Danielle Delgado and team.
Mayor Sarno states, “I was honored to once again join with Sheriff Nick Cocchi and his dedicated team, especially Ed Caisse, for this annual tradition of the All-Star Hoops basketball game at our Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
