Mayor Sarno Celebrates Kelley Mickiewicz and her 39 Dedicated Years of Service to the City of Springfield

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno joins with Kelley Mickiewicz, her friends and family, members of the Western Massachusetts State Delegation, along with several current and former City Councilors to celebrate her retirement after 39 dedicated years of service to the City.

Mayor Sarno states, “Congratulations to Kelley Mickiewicz on her retirement and her dedicated 39 years of service to the City. Kelley was key in the shift of the City Council in 2010. The big question now is- what will Sue do?”

Kelley Mickiewicz started her career with the City of Springfield in 1985. In 2010, Kelley was instrumental in the transition as the City Council went from 9 At-Large Members to 5 At-Large Members and 8 Ward Representatives (13 total members). Kelley has worked for over 35 years in the City Council office.
