Springfield, MA – Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and Administrative Assistant Minerva Marrero joined with the New North Citizens Council, including NNCC Chief Operations Officer Jose Claudio and City Councilor Maria Perez, along with the North End community, and event partners for the Family Field Day Summer Kick-Off at the Park event, which took place Friday, June 21, 2024 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the Jaime Ulloa Park in the North End.
Mayor Sarno states, “What a beautiful day kicking off summer at the Jaime Ulloa Park in Springfield’s North End. Thanks to COO Jose Claudio, Councilor Perez and the entire New North Citizens Council team for hosting a day full of fun outdoor activities. Fresh homemade lemonade, hamburgers and hot dogs were served, there were free haircuts, face painting along with many more activities. Special thanks to our brave and dedicated North End C3 officers and Sheriff’s Department and Sheriff Cocchi for coming out and supporting our North End Community.”
