Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and Chief Development Officer Tim Sheehan met with Angela Park, President and CEO of Springfield Performing Arts Ventures Inc. (SPAV). Angela shared updates with Mayor Sarno and CDO Sheehan on her most recent venture, 52 Sumner.
52 Sumner is a non-profit organization located at the former Faith United Church located at 52 Sumner Avenue in Springfield, Massachusetts. Their performing arts venue was created with the goal of making the arts, including live performances, affordable and accessible to the local community in our beautiful space. 52 Sumner was the 2024 recipient of the Springfield Preservation Award from the Springfield Preservation Trust for our restoration of the 125-year-old building.
“Mayor Sarno states, “I appreciate Angela Park and co-founder Daniel Mc Kellick coming by to share updates and for what they do in the community to engage with and connect to our youths and serve families. That have transformed an historic property and offer transformative experiences for the community they serve.”
