Mayor Domenic J. Sarno joined with the Springfield Women’s Commission chaired by City Councilor Kateri Walsh for a special Meet & Greet luncheon with Mary Akers, wife of Police Superintendent Larry Akers.
Mayor Sarno states, “Mary Akers has been serving our community for a very long time in the education and workforce development fields. I know she will continue to find meaningful ways to serve and make a positive impact in our city. I deeply appreciate the steadfast partnership with her husband Larry, too.
