Springfield, MA – Mayor Domenic Sarno and Executive Director of Parks, Buildings, and Recreation Management (PBRM) Thomas Ashe, are excited to announce that the Springfield Parks Department will host the Forest Park Concert Series this year beginning on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at the Forest Park Amphitheater and Carriage House. The outdoor concerts, all scheduled for 6:30 p.m., are open to the public and free of charge.
Mayor Sarno states, “I am thrilled to have our beloved concerts returning to Forest Park. My administration is committed to enhancing the enjoyment of our beautiful parks systems, and this year’s lineup will bring a lot of enjoyment to family and friends. Forest Park is especially beautiful this time of year and these free, family-friendly concerts are an opportunity to get outside and enjoy the park together. Our annual concert series in Forest Park is a wonderful example of the city programs that enhance and promote our quality of life. I look forward to enjoying this year’s talented line-up!”
Executive Director of Parks, Buildings and Recreation Management Thomas Ashe added, “Springfield Parks is proud to host another year of concerts at the idyllic Forest Park Amphitheater. I would like to thank Mayor Sarno as he continues to support our efforts to produce and promote these types of family-orientated activities. I want to recognize the Concert Committee for their dedicated efforts as they have compiled a terrific lineup of talented artists.
