|   City News

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and City Clerk Gladys Oyola welcomed Kathy Montejo, City Clerk and Registrar of Voters from Lewiston, ME and a group of City Clerks from across New England and upper state New York. The group of about 20 Clerks were in Springfield for a professional development session at the Springfield Marriott Hotel. They represented the states of Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.

Mayor Sarno states, “I want to thank our City Clerk Gladys Oyola, Megan Anzalotti and Chelsea Parmentier for welcoming the group of Clerks to the City of Springfield and collaborating with them on best practices in their field as part of their professional development.  Our City Clerk’s Office is one of the busiest in Western Massachusetts, if not the state and all of New England, and they do a tremendous job providing a wide range of services for our residents and business community.  I wish them safe travels as they wrap up their visit and return home.”
