A Celebration of Irish Heritage At Union Station this Friday

At 3:00 pm on Friday March 15th the Springfield Redevelopment Authority will host a performance at Union Station by the talented dancers of Black Rose Academy of Irish Dance, directed by Bridget Barcomb Dupuis, who is also this year’s Springfield St. Patrick's Parade Committee's John and Agnes Burke Award winner .

Academy owner and teacher, Bridget Barcomb Dupuis, promises a mixture of traditional and contemporary choreography during this first-time performance on Union Station’s historic concourse.

Black Rose Academy of Irish Dance is an all-inclusive, Irish Dance school community that serves the Greater Springfield and Western Mass area. Dancers of all ages and experience welcome. Ages 4 and up, beginner through champion. They are registered members of CLRG, IDTANA, and the New England region.

Springfield Union Station, owned by Springfield Redevelopment Authority, is an intermodal transportation hub, located near the north end of Springfield. The station serves as the hub for the Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA), along with Peter Pan Bus Lines, Greyhound Lines, Hartford Line commuter rail and is the home of Dietz & Company Architects and the Hispanic-American Library.
