Mayor Sarno, DPW Director Cignoli and PBRM Director Sullivan Welcome MassDEP Commissioner Bonnie Heiple

Mayor Sarno states, “My administration has always had a good working relationship with MassDEP, especially with the Western Mass Regional Director Mike Gorski.  I want to thank Commissioner Bonnie Heiple and Deputy Commissioner Gary Moran for taking the time to come out to Springfield and meet with myself and my Parks Director Patrick Sullivan, DPW Director Chris Cignoli, and Chief of Staff and soon-to-be Parks Director Tom Ashe.  Commissioner Heiple understands the importance of striking a balance of pro-environmental and pro-business in working together.  We look forward to continuing our good working relationship, especially on our illegal dumping initiative which I fondly refer to as, ‘Smile You’re on Candid Camera!, and brownfield funding initiatives.’”
