Mayor Sarno states, “Although our beloved T-Birds lost a close game to the Providence Bruins, the energy at the MassMutual Center was electric. Fifth consecutive sold out game! Local ownership under managing partner Paul Picknelly and team President Nate Costa are doing a tremendous job. After scoring six goals against the Hartford Wolf Pack for the win on Friday, the offense continued to cook, scoring 4 goals against the Bruins. However, the Bruins wouldn’t quit and scored 5 goals to seal the win. Our T-Birds will look to rebound against the Bruins when they face off again on Friday, March 1st in Providence. Hopefully, they come back home with the win to face the Laval Rocket on Saturday, March 2nd at the MassMutual Center to keep the push to the Calder Cup playoffs alive – see you there!”
