United Way of Pioneer Valley Launches Volunteer Program

Mayor Sarno states, “I want to commend Interim President and CEO Megan Moynihan and her dedicated team at the United Way of Pioneer Valley for their continued efforts, programs and services that support our community and provide assistance for those in need.  This new volunteer program will serve to help connect individuals with opportunities to volunteer within our Greater Springfield community.  Volunteerism is such an important part of our community and a vital piece for our local nonprofits.  It is because of their efforts, that our local nonprofit agencies and organizations can provide so much good and positive services and programs to those in need.  This VolunteerConnect initiative will serve as an important program to help connect volunteers with opportunities to serve throughout the region.”
