Mayor Sarno states, “It is always a pleasure to welcome Massachusetts Gaming Commission Chair Cathy Judd-Stein to Springfield. I want to thank her for taking the time to visit, we had a good discussion where we talked about the new leadership at MGM Springfield, and the recent and positive Red Sox Winter Weekend events that we just hosted. My administration has a very positive and productive relationship with both the Commission and MGM Springfield. I am looking forward to continuing to work with her and her fellow commissioners as we welcome MGM Springfield’s new President and COO Louis Theros and celebrate all of the positive events and happenings for our downtown Springfield, including all of the positive economic spin off impact too.”
Judd-Stein joined the Commission as its chair in 2019.
