Mayor Sarno states, “I want to thank Square One President and CEO Dawn DiStefano and her team for their continued belief and investment in our Springfield. My administration is proud to have supported this ambitious move with a nearly $1 million ARPA award, and we are excited to hear about their plans to reestablish their presence back into our South End neighborhood. Square One does such a tremendous job in our community with the variety of programs and services they offer, especially their Early Education and Care programs. The earlier we get to our young families with wrap around services, the more positive opportunities await them and our city. This ‘homecoming – coming back to their roots’ means even more to our South End neighborhood. I know Leo Florian and our South End Citizens Council are happy and excited to welcome them back into the neighborhood too.”
