New Downtown Parking Garage Continues Up-and-Coming Rise

Mayor Sarno states, “Upward and onward!  What a difference a few weeks make.  When I stopped by just a few weeks ago only the foundation and support pillars had been placed.  Now the parking levels and stairwells are rising.  Simply put, the up-and-coming rise of our new downtown parking garage continues.  Once built, the new $80 million state-of-the-art parking and retail facility will transform the downtown business district, especially along Bruce Landing Way.  It will not only provide much-needed parking for events, like our T-Birds games, but also will greatly enhance the experience as this project will connect our Main Street corridor with other key attractions and restaurants like MGM Springfield and the numerous restaurants and businesses up and down Main Street.”
