Tom Ashe, Chief of Staff for Mayor Domenic J. Sarno, joined with State Representative Bud Williams, City Councilor Malo Brown and TD Bank officials for a special ceremony at the Mason Square neighborhood location to announce the reopening of the branch. Recently, TD Bank announced the expansion of their hours at the neighborhood branch to better serve the community. This announcement followed continued discussions with Mayor Sarno, Congressman Richard E. Neal, and State Representative Bud Williams on how the bank could better serve the needs of the residents and business community of Mason Square and the surrounding neighborhoods.

Mayor Sarno states, “I want to thank TD Bank for their continued commitment, belief and investment in our Springfield, especially at their Mason Square neighborhood branch.  My administration, along with State Representative Bud Williams and Congressman Richard E. Neal, has been working with TD Bank to expand their operations in our Mason Square neighborhood for our residents and business community.  Besides traditional banking services, the TD Bank Mason Square location features a 24/7 ATM, notary services (by appointment), and provides a small business specialist who can offer tailored banking services for small business owners.”

TD Bank Retail Market President Monté W. Foster said, "We are honored to be a part of the Springfield community. Our expanded hours are an example of  TD's longstanding tradition of working closely with the communities we serve, like Springfield, to build a better tomorrow together."

Foster was joined by other bank leadership including Regional President Sheryl McQuade, Retail Market Manager Miguel Vasquez, and Store Manager Tameca Wittenzellner to celebrate the new hours with the community.
