Thank you to Karen Finn, Kali Green, and Vanessa Ford for making the introduction and for their continued efforts, along with my Chief Development Officer Tim Sheehan, toward strengthening Springfield’s art and culture. The city’s partnership with the SCC has helped to bring a welcoming vibrancy and creativity to many areas throughout our city through public art installations and of course our mural program which included the iconic Ruth Carter mural located at Rebecca Johnson School. We are grateful for the continued partnership with the Springfield Cultural Council in making our community colorful and enhancing our city’s aesthetics and pedestrian experience, which all leads to people spending money by patronizing our business and cultural amenities.”
