Mayor Sarno states, “City Councilor Maria Perez and I want to thank and celebrate the 6th anniversary of Mesa Buffet. Their continued investment and belief in our Springfield is greatly appreciated. Their food and cuisine is delicious, offering a wide variety of home comfort food all at a very affordable price. My administration was proud to support this establishment as restaurants such as these struggled greatly during the hard and challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Mesa Buffet was awarded $50,000 as part of my 10th round of ARPA awards earlier this year in February. If you haven’t already, I would encourage you to come down to the Springfield Plaza and visit Mesa Buffet. There is plenty of free parking, and the food and ambiance are amazing!”

Sarno stopped by to celebrate and acknowledge Mesa Buffet as they mark their 6th anniversary in business with a proclamation declaring Friday, November 17, 2023, as ‘Mesa Buffet Day’ in the City of Springfield. Located in the Springfield Plaza, Mesa Buffet is Springfield’s first Spanish buffet offering delicious Spanish food and cuisine.
