The TD Bank location at 958 State St. will operate Monday through Friday beginning the first week of November. The move comes as the Mason Square area undergoes new growth and economic development.

TD collaborated with elected officials, including Mayor Sarno, Congressman Richard E. Neal, and State Representative Bud Williams, community organizers and residents to better understand the needs of Mason Square residents. The Mason Square store is operated under the leadership of Retail Market President Monté W. Foster, Retail Market Manager Miguel Vasquez and Store Manager Tameca Wittenzellner.

As a cherished member of the Springfield community, the news that TD Bank is here to stay is welcomed by all,” said Congressman Richard Neal. “When the branch was at risk of closing in 2020, I personally spoke with the TD Bank CEO to ensure the location continued to operate. The decision to remain open two days a week provided a reasonable path forward, ensuring the branch remained viable. Three years later, we can now celebrate those efforts knowing it put the bank in a position to reopen five days a week.”

In addition to traditional banking services, the Mason Square location features a 24/7 ATM, notary services by appointment and has a small business specialist who can offer tailored banking services to small business owners.
