Mayor Sarno welcomes visit from Sonia and Roy Watson

Mayor Sarno states, “Always great to catch up with my former interns and see how they are doing.  Roy is a great, smart and talented young man entering his senior year at UMass.  I remember fondly his time when he was interning with my office.  I am looking forward to hearing more good things about ‘RW’ as he looks to graduate with his degree in Mechanical Engineering and as he pursues a career in that very rewarding field.  It was also great to see Sonia Watson a paraprofessional at our Freeman Elementary School too.  She’s always the strong and compassionate woman and mother.  I truly appreciate their continued belief and support in me as Mayor, and in our Springfield community.”
