The City of Springfield Department of Parks and Recreation announce that the pool and splash pad at Forest Park is temporarily closed today, Thursday, August 3rd, due to an unscheduled power outage. Work is underway to restore power and the pool and splash pad at Forest Park should be reopened tomorrow, Friday, August 4th.
