The Department of Public Works Solid Waste Division wishes to inform the residents of Springfield who have municipal trash, recycling and yard waste collection scheduled for Friday, July 28, 2023, that pick up will begin at 4:30 am due to the anticipated heat forecasted with temperatures reaching into the 90’s with humidity and a high heat index.
Please have your trash and recycling barrels by the curb no later than 4:30 am, Friday, July 28th.
Those residents that have scheduled bulk collection are to have the items curbside at 4:30 am as well.
