Mayor Sarno stated, “Terry Rodriquez was such a selfless person and a tireless worker for those in need in our community. Terry never looked for any public accolades, as her reward was knowing she helped others move forward in a positive light. I believe a fitting tribute to her legacy is to name this community wellness center in Terry’s honor. You are deeply missed, Terry, but your life, legacy, and impact on our Springfield community will not be forgotten.”
Members of the Springfield Police Department along with many friends, including some of those who Terry had helped throughout her life were also in attendance.
