Mayor Sarno Congratulates Officer Tim Sheehan on a Well-Deserve Retirement

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and Chief of Staff Tom Ashe enjoyed a visit from Springfield Police Officers Tim Sheehan and Chris Goodrow from the Springfield Police Motorcycle Unit today. Mayor Sarno also congratulated Officer Tim Sheehan on a well-deserve retirement after over 31 years with the Springfield Police Department. Officer Sheehan will be retiring on July 20th.

Mayor Sarno states, “Always great to visit with our brave and dedicated men and women of the Springfield Police Department.  Officers Sheehan and Goodrow are such respectable and hardworking officers for our Police Department and their patrols as part of the Springfield Police Department’s Motorcycle Unit are appreciated by all of our residents and business community.”

“Congratulations to Officer Tim Sheehan on a well-deserved retirement.  Police Superintendent Cheryl Clapprood and I will miss him but we wish him and his family a happy, healthy and enjoyable retirement as he retires riding his police issued Harley-Davidson motorcycle for a cross-country RV.  Congratulations Tim on a job well done!”
