Mayor Sarno Welcomes and Brings Greetings at Motor Maids Convention

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno brought greetings at the Motor Maids Convention on Tuesday, July 11th at the Sheraton Hotel. The energetic crowd of over 500 traveled to Springfield, MA on their bikes from across the Country. The Motor Maids were formed in 1940 and now includes over 1,300 members across Canada and the United States.

Mayor Sarno stated, “It was great to welcome back the wonderful gathering of the Motor Maids to our beautiful City of Springfield.  They had previously visited back around 2018 and I was thrilled when they decided to host their annual convention here in our Springfield.  I want to thank the Motor Maids for holding their annual convention here in downtown Springfield.  This distinguished organization, which represents a diverse group of over 1,300 members across Canada and the US, have a deep passion for riding and promoting safe riding habits too.  Over 500 of their members were in attendance staying at our local hotels and dining at our numerous establishments, a tremendous boom for our local economy.  Thank you, Motor Maids, for sharing your passion for riding with our city.”
