Mayor Sarno, Senator Oliveira, Representative Ashe and Longmeadow Town Officials attend Groundbreaking Ceremony for Glenmeadow’s Phase Two Renovations and new Wellness Center

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno joined with State Senator Jacob Oliveira, State Representative Brian Ashe, Longmeadow Town Manager Lyn Simmons, and members from the Longmeadow Select Board for a special groundbreaking ceremony for Glenmeadow’s phase two renovations and new wellness center on Friday, June 30th. Joy Peterson, Glenmeadow’s Senior Director of Sales and Marketing, emceed the event, and Anne Thomas, President and CEO, and Amy Santarelli, Board Chair, brought greetings and thanked everyone for attending.

The $10 million Phase 2 project will include continued renovations and wellness center for their senior residents so that they can continue to enjoy their retirement. 

Mayor Sarno states, “I was honored to join with Glenmeadow’s President and CEO Anne Thomas and Board Chair Amy Santarelli for this special groundbreaking ceremony of their phase two renovations and new wellness center.  Glenmeadow provides such wonderful care and services for our seniors, including home care services, throughout Greater Springfield.  These phase two renovations and wellness center will provide a dedicated space that encourages healthy living and activities, along with amenities for socializing and relaxing.  Special thanks go out to all of the generous sponsors and benefactors for their genericity and support.”
