Mayor Sarno states, “Officer Kevin Ambrose made the ultimate sacrifice saving the lives of a young mother and her child. On this 11th anniversary of his passing, Police Superintendent Cheryl Clapprood and I wanted to join with our brave and dedicated men and women of the Springfield Police Department to honor his memory. Officer Ambrose proudly wore badge #7 and it is only fitting that we hold this special dedication ceremony at the 7th hole at our Franconia Golf Course. God Bless the Ambrose family and all of our officers who continue to service and protect our community.”
