Mayor Sarno and Officials attend Groundbreaking Ceremony for Junior Achievement’s new Innovation Center

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and officials attended the special groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate Junior Achievement of Western Massachusetts’ new Career, Leadership and Innovation Center (CLIC) in Tower Square on Wednesday, April 5th. The new Career Center will serve many student programs with an emphasis on career exploration, innovation and leadership and financial education and will include a full classroom, manufacturing room, skills assessment and career exploration lab and collaboration zone.

State Senator Jacob Oliveira and Lamari Jackson, District Director for state Senator Adam Gomez, were also in attendance.

Mayor Sarno states, “I want to thank and applaud Junior Achievement President Jennifer Connolly, the Board of Directors, their dedicated staff and team, and all of the supporters and sponsors of this much-needed and important project to help support and provide a learning and nurturing environment for our students and young adults.  This new state-of-the-art Career Center will help serve our students and provide them with the resources and programing needed to successfully explore career options and other educational opportunities in the region.”
