Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and City Councilors Michael Fenton, Sean Curran, Tim Allen and Jesse Lederman visited with the seniors at the Hungry Hill Senior Center with Hungry Hill Neighborhood Council President Cathy Mossi and Hungry Hill Senior Center Coordinator Linda Henley for their annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration which featured live music, traditional Irish food and dancing from the Black Rose Academy of Irish Dance.

Mayor Sarno stated, “I always enjoy visiting our beloved seniors at our Hungry Hill Senior Center as we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in the city of Springfield.  Linda Henley does such a wonderful job for our seniors and is always accommodating.  I want to thank Linda and Hungry Hill Neighborhood Council President Cathy Mossi for everything they do not just for our seniors but for the neighborhood too.  It is greatly appreciated.  What a wonderful performance by the young women and men from the Black Rose Academy of Irish Dance too.  I am looking forward to marching in the St. Patrick’s Day parade on Sunday with our Springfield Police Department as Mayor O’Sarno!”
