Mayor Sarno states, “For decades the city has strived to bring a grocery store to our downtown neighborhood area. I am so glad that my administration has been able to accomplish this initiative to enhance more amenities for our downtown residents and businesses. I am also excited to have the well-respected Big Y and D’Amour family here in Springfield. I thank them for their continued belief and investment in our Springfield. They’re great corporate citizens.”
Mayor Sarno added that he will continue to work hard to stimulate our local economy and create more of that ‘good four-letter word, JOBS!’
