Mayor Sarno and Director Sullivan also welcomed the Springfield Garden Club to their new home at the Carriage House at the Barney Estate in Forest Park. The Club is looking forward to hosting many of their events at the Carriage House and Forest Park.
Mayor Sarno stated, “Director Patrick Sullivan and I want to thank our Springfield Garden Club for their very generous donation to help support our beautiful gardens in Forest Park. We are looking forward to the Garden Club calling our historic Carriage House at the Barney Estate in Forest Park home. The Club does such wonderful and tremendous work in our community helping to stimulate the promotion of civic beauty through horticulture and conservation.”
