State Representatives Angelo J. Puppolo, Jr., Brian Ashe, and Joe Wagner, and representatives from the offices of Senators Adam Gomez and John Velis, and from Representative Carlos Gonzalez were also in attendance.
Mayor Sarno stated, “On behalf of the City of Springfield, congratulations to new Trinity Health of New England President and CEO Montez Carter. This was such a wonderful ceremony and it was an honor to be a part of it. Mercy Hospital does such a wonderful job providing top notch medical service and care for our residents, including caring for my late mother and father, Clara and Alfonso ‘Al the Barber’ Sarno.”
