The Museum School
Beat the holiday rush and connect with friends at the Museum School. The Springfield Museums is offering a slate of one-day classes in November, including silk painting, pastel drawing, and photo editing, so you can get a quick artistic fix in! Have a little free time? Andrea Mackin is teaching in-person and virtual multi-week watercolor classes.

Call for Art!
Students new and old are welcome to submit works for the annual Museum School Student Art Show at the Storrs Library in Longmeadow, MA, opening December 8. Those interested in participating, please submit 1-2 works of art by Thursday, November 10. Objects must be hangable if they are 2D, works on paper must be framed, and works on canvas must have a hang wire or be framed. For more information or to submit your entry, email Paige Moreau.
The Grinch's Grotto: November 5-December 31
Here is a wonderful, awful idea for the holiday season! Step into the Grinch’s Grotto to meet the Grinchiest of Grinchy beings, the Grinch himself. Exclusively available at the Springfield Museums, the Grinch’s Grotto gives you and your loved ones a rare opportunity to visit his special cave and strike a pose or two. The Grinch’s Grotto is in the midst of a Who-ville space with interactive stations sure to amuse the whole family. Grow your heart three sizes with the joy of this immersive experience!
