Springfield Police Department to Offer Additional Location for Walk-In Reports

|   City News

Springfield Police Superintendent Cheryl Clapprood announced today that the Springfield Police Department will offer an additional location for members of the public to make incident reports beginning on Monday, October 24th, 2022.

Due to recent high demand in the Springfield Police Headquarters Lobby, Superintendent Clapprood will be assigning an Officer and a Cadet to take walk-up reports at the front window of the Springfield Police Metro Substation located at 75 Dwight Street, across from the MassMutual Center.  This front window will be staffed Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

The primary location to make a report remains the Springfield Police Headquarters Front Lobby at 130 Pearl Street.  Non-emergency reports can be made by calling the Non-Emergency Incident Report Line: (413) 750-2525.

Please note, this additional location is only for making reports.  Any business involving getting copies of reports, LTC's, FID's, permits, licensing, fingerprinting and photographs is completed through our Clerk's Office in the Lobby of 130 Pearl Street at Springfield Police Headquarters.
