Mayor Sarno states, “Commissioner BJ Calvi and I want to acknowledge and recognize the brave and dedicated men and women of the Springfield Fire Department and 911 Dispatch Operations Center for their continued efforts serving and protecting our residents and business community. When everyone is running out of the building and away from the fire, it is our brave and dedicated men and women of the Springfield Fire Department that are running towards and into that building to save lives and property. Thank you and congratulations to all of those firefighters being recognized and awarded for your dedicated service.”
