Mayor Domenic J. Sarno, Veterans’ Services Director Tom Belton, Veterans’ Services Deputy Director Joe DeCaro and Mayoral Aide Mini Marrero met with Gumersindo Gomez, Executive Director for the Bilingual Veterans Outreach Centers of MA, and Christian Bach of the Veterans Outreach Center at the Eastfield Mall to discuss future programs and services for our veterans. In May 2022, Springfield Partners for Community Action hosted numerous veterans’ services agencies, including the City of Springfield Department of Veterans’ Services, at the Eastfield Mall for the sixth annual Stars and Stripes Festival to directly connect veterans with community resources, information and services.
