Mayor Domenic J. Sarno welcomed Rabbi Noach Kosofsky to celebrate Purim. Purim celebrates the rescue of all Jews in the Persian Empire as recorded in the biblical book of Esther. As part of the celebrations, it is customary to celebrate by eating hamantash.
