Mayor Sarno and Chief of Staff Ashe Support Massachusetts State Police Springfield Barracks B

|   City News

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and Chief of Staff Tom Ashe proudly support the Massachusetts State Police Springfield Barracks by displaying their St. Patrick’s themed State Police T-Shirts to raise money for the Homework House in Holyoke. The Homework House is a charitable organization started by the Sisters of St. Joseph to provide a safe place for young children. So far over $30,000 has been donated to this worthwhile charity from members of the Massachusetts State Police Community. This much-needed cause was started by retired Detective Lt. and FMSTA member Brendan O’Toole and his brother MSP Detective Lt. Kevin O’Toole with the help of members from the State Police, Hampden District Attorney’s Office and New England Promotional Marketing Company as a way to give back to our community.

Mayor Sarno states, “Chief of Staff Tom Ashe and I are proud to support the O’Toole brothers, our Massachusetts State Police - especially our local Springfield Barracks, and all of our community partners in supporting this heartfelt cause that was started by the Sisters of St. Joseph.  These St. Patrick’s Day T-Shirts are not only a great way to kick off our St. Patrick’s Day celebrations but also support this worthwhile cause so that our children have a safe place to go to and get help with their homework.”
