Join the United Way’s Women’s Leadership Council for the THE POWER OF THE PURSE: A Women’s Leadership Council Initiative to give a hand to women in need. The WLC is aiming to collect 300 used purses in good condition as well as items to fill them with to distribute to women in need. Each purse will contain resource & referral phone numbers, websites, info collected from area agencies. In addition to collecting and donating items and bags, please spread the word to your friends!
You can also join WLC to assemble the purses:
1:30pm – 3:30pm at their Springfield Service Center off of Harrison Avenue, 1441 Main St, Springfield MA – park in the TD Bank Parking Lot and we will validate your parking. Please RSVP for the date(s) you’ll help out.
