Mayor Sarno Joined Marcus Camby and Ray Berry at White Lion Beer Release Event

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno joined with White Lion Brewing President and founder Ray Berry along with UMass and NBA legend Marcus Camby to bring greetings at White Lion’s beer release event which took place at the White Lion Brewing Taproom in Tower Square at 1500 Main Street in Springfield. The event featured the release of a new beer from White Lion Brewing in partnership with Marcus Camby: The Marcus Camby NEIPA.

Mayor Sarno stated, “Marcus Camby is a great ball player on the court, and as advertised, a great guy off the court too. I saw Marcus electrify many games whether at the Springfield Civic Center beating #1 ranked Arkansas, or up at the Mullins Center beating Temple 4 years in a row for the Atlantic-10 Championship. It is fantastic that he is partnering with Ray and White Lion and continues to give back to our Springfield community.”

Mayor Sarno continued, “And a big shout out to White Lion founder and president Ray Berry –  he has done tremendous job on fulfilling his dream above and beyond. Congratulations on the new partnership and beer – I can’t wait to stop by White Lion to have a Camby NEIPA and a Cream Ale.”

State Representatives Carlos Gonzales, Angelo Puppolo, Springfield’s Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Director Tony Pettaway, President & CEO at Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame John Doleva, and Springfield Housing Authority Director Denise Jordan were also in attendance.
