Mayor Sarno, Police Commissioner Clapprood and SPD Celebrate Bill Hogan’s Retirement

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and Chief of Staff Tom Ashe joined with Police Commissioner Cheryl Clapprood and the Springfield Police Department today to celebrate Bill Hogan for his 36 years of service to the City of Springfield and wish him a very happy retirement.

Mayor Sarno stated, “Bill Hogan has kept our SPD running for decades and he will be dearly missed. Bill is always fixing something and keeps us running smoothly. Thank you, Bill, for your dedicated efforts over the last thirty-six years. Enjoy your well-deserved retirement, my friend.”

“Billy was a 36 year dedicated, loyal employee who helped us out tremendously while keeping our officers safe.  We appreciate everything he did for us and wish him a happy and healthy retirement,” said Springfield Police Commissioner Cheryl Clapprood.
