Mayor Sarno Issues Statement on the Passing of Fr. Anthony Corigliano and SSJ Mary Quinn

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno states, “First of all, my sympathy, thoughts, prayers and encouragement to the families, friends and colleagues of Fr. Anthony Corigliano, longtime priest at my home Parrish of the Lady of Mount Carmel and SSJ Mary Quinn, longtime educator and Sheriff’s Department member. Boy, we lost two really good one’s here. Fr. Corigliano always a caring and calming spiritual influence and Sr. Mary Quinn always nurturing others to believe in themselves and their abilities and that great smile too. Our loss is God’s gain. With my and our Springfield’s community’s heartfelt thanks, we were fortunate to have known them – May God rest their souls.”
