The COVID-19 vaccine booster clinic will offer the Moderna COVID-19 booster shot and will run through the month of November every Tuesday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, with the exception of Thursday, November 11, 2021 due to Veterans Day, and also Thursday November 25, 2021 due to Thanksgiving.
Additionally, eligible residents can also schedule their Flu (Influenza) vaccine shot and schedule their first and/or second COVID-19 vaccine shot during these dates.
Eligible residents must register for an appointment to receive their Moderna COVID-19 vaccine booster shot, and/or their 1st or 2nd COVID-19 vaccine shot, and/or their Flu (Influenza) vaccine shot at the link below:

Mayor Sarno states, “I want to thank HHS Commissioner Helen Caulton-Harris and her team for their unyielding efforts throughout this COVID-19 pandemic. The City of Springfield has been allotted a certain amount of COVID-19 vaccine booster doses and we are happy to be able to offer this life-saving vaccine to our residents. I want to encourage all eligible residents to get their booster shot – by the way I just got both my booster and flu shots and I feel fine.”
Mayor Sarno continued, “Health and Human Services Commissioner Helen Caulton-Harris and I want to remind and encourage our residents that we must remain vigilant and we now have to ‘double down and redouble our efforts in order for us to defeat this COVID-19 pandemic. We implore those who are able to get their booster shot and for those who are unvaccinated to get vaccinated ASAP! We must continue to quickly increase our vaccination rates to turn back this COVID-19 pandemic fully. Also, a timely reminder for all to get their Flu shot and to those age appropriate their Shingles shot too.”

I also want to applaud our residents who have worked so hard throughout this pandemic. It is because of our joint efforts working together with all of our public and private partners that we can get this vital and life-saving vaccine and its booster shot to our residents.”
