Mayor Sarno and Councilor Brown Attend Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Grand Opening of Popeye’s Chicken

Mayor Sarno states, “I want to thank the owners and management of Popeye’s Chicken for their belief, support and investment in the City of Springfield.  This new business will bring 60 new jobs to our city, hiring mostly from the neighborhood.  Any opportunity to bring new jobs to our city and repurpose a site for the benefit of our neighborhoods is a win.  On a side note, my daughters love Popeye’s Chicken, so I am sure my family will be enjoying a Louisiana flavor chicken dinner real soon!”
