Mayor Sarno Meets with Council President Williams

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and Chief of Staff Tom Ashe met with City Council President Marcus Williams today as part of their continued regular meetings. Mayor Sarno and President Williams discussed the ongoing citywide listening tour with our neighborhood councils and their ideas on how to utilize ARPA funding to enhance their neighborhoods. Tomorrow, Mayor Sarno and the city ARPA team will meet with Council President William’s Ward 5 neighborhood council, the 16 Acres Civic Association, and listen to their ideas on how ARPA funding can enhance the 16 Acres neighborhood.

Mayor Sarno states, “I appreciate Council President Marcus Williams for continuing to meet with myself and my Administration as we continue to work together in an effort to enhance the quality of life for all of our residents and business community.  These regular meetings are very productive as we continue to move our city forward and building upon the numerous projects and initiatives the City has already implemented for the betterment of everyone.  Council President Williams and I are looking forward to hearing from his Ward 5 neighborhood council, the 16 Acres Civic Association, which my ARPA team and I are meeting with tomorrow to hear their ideas on best use of ARPA funding to enhance the 16 Acres neighborhood.”
